Our client is a well-known regional bakery with multiple retail stores throughout New York metro area. Due to growth, seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join the maintenance staff at the main plant/HQ. Primary duties include:

• Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on food production and packaging equipment.

• Assist with building maintenance and grounds keeping

• Ensure work spaces are safe in accordance with GMP, OSHA and SOP's

• Provide equipment and maintenance status to management as required

Position reports to Maintenance Manager.

Ideal candidates for Maintenance Mechanic in New York will possess the following:

• Associates degree in electro-technology or similar, military (technical) training, and/or vocational/trade schooling

• 3+ years experience in a food production environment

• Understanding of LEAN 5S, GMP and OSHA

Salary is up to $33/hr. Standard benefits--medical/dental/vision, etc.

Pay Details: $26.00 to $33.00 per hour
