Job Title: Buyer

Job Description

As a Buyer, you will be responsible for the purchasing activities of technical and complex materials for assigned commodities to support manufacturing product lines.

  • Your role includes obtaining pricing from approved supply bases, issuing purchase orders, resolving supply issues to meet customer demands, and resolving invoicing issues.

  • You will manage source models, planning levels, and inventory accuracy, and maintain data integrity in inventory management systems.

  • Key responsibilities include processing requisitions, determining MRP parameters, participating in commodity strategies, providing purchasing assistance, supporting special projects, preparing negotiations, executing supplier management processes, and supporting new product introductions or product changes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Excel and ERP experience

  • Buyer/Procurement experience

  • Supplier relationship management

Work Site

Monday through Friday. 8am to 5pm. This is a fully on-site position in Elgin, Illinois.
