Dish Network Senior Manufacturing Test Engineer in EL PASO, Texas

Key Responsibilities:
This is an ONSITE role located in El Paso, TX
Must be willing to spend time on the manufacturing floor working directly with operators and other team members to ensure test equipment and programs operate efficiently.
Provide direct engineering assistance to operations, overseeing all facets of the designated process or area of focus
Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to enhance the efficiency of manufacturing processes continuously
Develop and deploy testing methodologies while maintaining comprehensive documentation
Undertake program managerial responsibilities encompassing planning, assessment, organization, integration, and execution
Evaluate designs and implement enhancements to facilitate cost-effective manufacturing with superior quality outcomes
Conceptualize and develop electrical/mechanical equipment, components, systems, instruments, and software tools tailored for manufacturing purposes
Lead independent projects aimed at identifying and executing continuous yield and process enhancements, fostering cost-efficient, top-tier manufacturing capabilities
Utilize proficient data analysis skills to gather and interpret data, resolving issues, instigating change, and achieving objectives
Uphold standards, policies, and procedures to ensure adherence across operations
Act as a mentor to fellow engineers, offering guidance and support
Scheduled Weekly Hours: Monday thru Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Will also occasionally need to support off shifts as needed.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred
Must possess five to seven years of experience in engineering or a related field
Skills and Qualifications:
Proficient in Lean Manufacturing methodologies, demonstrating deep understanding and application
Skilled in navigating matrix organizational structures, with a talent for team building, leadership, and interpersonal communication across all hierarchical levels
Capable of facilitating, supporting, and executing organizational changes effectively
Demonstrated aptitude in project management, adeptly managing time and delegating tasks
Able to prioritize and allocate resources in alignment with departmental and company objectives
Proficient in programming languages such as LabView, C, and Python, with a strong emphasis on practical application
Familiarity with databases and proficiency in SQL
Familiarity with Industrial Automation Equipment and PLC programming
Proficient in PC operations, including word processing, spreadsheet management, and presentation software
Skilled in crafting comprehensive reports and correspondence, and adept at presenting information confidently
Capable of effectively fielding inquiries from executives and customers, providing clear and insightful responses
Compensation: $87,000.00/Year - $119,900.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
