We are seeking an Aerospace Engineer to support our work at theAir Force Research Laboratory (ARFL), Edwards, AFB, CA.

Researches, designs, develops, and then supports testing of articles. Testing is performed on Air Force assets like missiles, or spacecraft. Analyzes aerospace product or equipment specifications and performance requirements to determine designs, which can be produced by existing manufacturing or processing facilities and methods. Evaluates new technologies for application in improving design of aerospace systems. Plans, coordinates, directs, and evaluates testing of aerospace systems. Performs risk assessment of aerospace systems and generates risk mitigation plans and strategies.

Must have experience with liquid flow for rocket engines and the systems that feed the propellants to the rocket engines.

Must provide expert analysis on compatibility between propellants and the fuel lines needed for a safe flow for test.

Must work in the field and work with the customer on building new test systems and getting the systems ready for test.

Will be required to also serve on a Test Panel for all tests.

Requires a Bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of experience or equivalent.
