Our Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselors are an integral part of our multidisciplinary treatment team focusing on client-centered care within MN 245G statutes and CARF standards. They provide on-going assessments, treatment planning, progress reviews, continuing care planning, and individual/group counseling sessions involving recovery education.

We are currently looking for a compassionate and committed PRN ("as needed") Outpatient Float Counselor who desires to be part of a team of dedicated and like-minded human beings doing the hard work they want and need to be doing but doesn't necessarily want to do it fulltime. Our Float Counselor will provide seamless counseling services to our clients when our regular daytime or evening Counseling staff take time off for self-care. OurFloat Counselor will also develop and facilitate creative and engaging group counseling programs that utilize their talents and interests and their expertise in the field.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates will have an active license (LADC or ADC-T) awarded by the MN BBHT; have 1-2 years’ experience in the chemical dependency field; and have insight regarding the unique challenges faced by our clients. They must be able to pass/clear the MN DHS Background Study and a UA drug test.
