Mayo Clinic Urogynecologist in Eau Claire, Wisconsin

The MCHS OB/GYN Department is seeking a BC/BE physician to join our practice in Eau Claire, WI. The practice current consists of 9 OBGYN Physicians, 10 Certified Nurse Midwives, 2 Nurse Practitioners and 1 Physician Assistant. This collegial practice seeks a candidate who is interested in building a collaborative model of urogynecology and pelvic medicine care with the support of the generalist team. The physician will provide medical and surgical urogynecologic and gynecologic patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

  • Urogynecology and gynecology surgery as well as robotics skills are required for this position.

  • Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery fellowship training and/or Board Certification is desired.

  • Capacity to manage complex benign pelvic surgery beyond incontinence and prolapse, including treating a broad spectrum of disorders affecting the lower genitourinary tract.

  • Urogynecologic and female pelvic medicine conditions, congenital anomalies, neuro-urology, and experience radical pelvic surgery, complex abdominal surgery and colorectal surgery through a multidisciplinary approach.

  • Specialty access within gastroenterology, urology, neurology, colorectal surgery, plastic surgery and physical medicine and rehabilitation working collaboratively to form a comprehensive team for evaluation and management.

  • Outreach opportunities at our clinics in Menomonie (30 min west of Eau Claire) and Barron (60 miles north of Eau Claire).

  • Physicians work closely with advanced practice providers to provide comprehensive urogynecologic care.

  • Urogynecology program development is desired.

  • No obstetrical coverage will be required for this position. With input from the candidate, as well as the generalist group, a call coverage system with generalist participation will be designed to support the urogynecology practice and provide excellent work/life balance.

The Department is strategically aligned and engaged in education and teaching. Mentor and leadership opportunities in partnership with onsite Mayo Clinic Family Medicine Residency program, Mayo Clinic PA fellowship, and rotations for Certified Midwives and APNP program candidates as well as medical students.

Qualifications

Candidates must be board eligible or certified in OB/GYN and FPMRS (must have completed an accredited fellowship in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery).
