.Job Posting: Customer Service Representative

Description: We are seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. In this role, you will manage a high volume of incoming calls, generate sales leads, and identify customer needs to ensure satisfaction. You will build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication. Your responsibilities will include providing accurate, valid, and complete information using the right methods/tools, meeting personal/customer service team sales targets, and handling call quotas. Additionally, you will handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within time limits, and follow up to ensure resolution. Keeping records of customer interactions, processing customer accounts, and filing documents will also be key tasks. Adherence to communication procedures, guidelines, and policies is essential, and going the extra mile to engage customers is expected.

Who We Are and What We Do: We serve all of North America, including Canada, and our customer base comprises end users of our equipment. As the manufacturer of heating and cooling equipment, we sell to distributors who then sell to dealers or contractors. Dealers or contractors install the equipment in the customer's home. Instead of the homeowner reaching out directly to the dealer, they will call us for assistance. We also get dealers looking for their distributor to obtain parts or technical support.

What We Help Customers With:

  • Dealer referrals to connect customers with dealers for sales or service, including warm transfers.

  • Our primary goal is to connect homeowners with dealers.

  • Providing customers with warranty information.

  • Product comparison.

  • Dealer referrals to distributors.

  • Acting as a switchboard for the company by referring customers to the appropriate department using a database.

  • Triage of customer complaints by Tier 1 representatives, transferred to Tier 2 as needed.

  • Triage of remote access or Wi-Fi capable products, such as thermostats.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

  • Ability to type 35-45 words per minute.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • High School Diploma or GED.

Shift: Standard Work Day, Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm.

Compensation:

  • $17/hr pay rate.

Pay Details: $17.00 to $18.00 per hour
