Hoselton Auto Mall is looking for an Express Rental Manager to join the Hoselton family!
This is an awesome opportunity with opportunities to learn and grow!
Schedule : Full-time (40 hours per week), Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm; NO WEEKENDS!
Compensation: Salary - $50-60k (Negotiable based on experience)
What does the Express Rental Manager do?
The Express Rental Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the Rental Car department which include customer service and administrative tasks to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
Renting vehicles following guidelines, customer service, answering phone calls, giving rental quotes, making reservations, collecting payments, completing vehicle inspections, open and close rental agreements in various software programs, and marketing to insurance companies.
Completing all necessary reports for department (monthly, weekly and daily).
Order new fleet inventory vehicles as needed for rental service.
Pull vehicles as needed from rental service to include trade appraisal and estimated reconditioning needed with estimated cost.
Grow fleet, based on local rental car demand while maintaining minimum monthly fleet utilization.
Assist with keeping the cars clean, handling face-to-face customer interactions and handling monthly vehicle exchanges
Assist with overall office organization, filing, mailings, general housekeeping and other administrative projects
Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed
You Should Possess:
Prior rental experience and/or knowledge of the rental market, laws and regulations related to the rental of vehicles is preferred
Must have excellent customer service skills and a strong work ethic
Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
High motivation and enthusiasm
Professional appearance and attitude
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Computer proficiency
Must be at least 18 years of age and eligible to work in the U.S.
Must be able to pass a drug test
Must have a valid drivers license

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
Prior rental car experience required
Must have excellent customer service skills and a strong work ethic
Knowledge of rental market and laws and regulations related to the rental of vehicles

Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
Some computer knowledge and/or experience
Valid driver's license required

WORK SCHEDULE
Full time employees are regularly scheduled for 40 hours within the confines of our operating hours. Overtime as needed and approved by the manager. All employees are required to take meal breaks in accordance with New York state law.
