The European Program Manager (m/f/d) for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is a key role within the implementation team, their primary role will be to develop a Project Management Office for Europe. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and standard work to the regional Project Managers, for the timely and successful deliver of implementation projects on time and within budget. The PMO will develop solutions that enable a common view and risk assessment of all implementation projects at the European Leadership level. They will share and leverage best practice across the different countries.

The projects will focus on successful implementation of complex strategically important solutions into healthcare laboratories across Europe and cross functional European projects that will deliver continuous improvement solutions for Beckman and our Customers.

This position is part of the Customer Care Organisation and will be remote within Europe. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Create Standard work for planning program design, monitoring progress, resolving issues and applying counter measures using DBS

  • Coordinating, chairing and minuting of Program meetings sharing best practice across Europe

  • Measuring and reporting project progress, including the risk management process across Europe

  • Ensuring all industry standards and regulatory requirements are met

  • Ensure successful internal or external customer kaizen events by installing and ensuring compliance to the kaizen process (planning, execution and sustainment).

  • Improve DBS training skills by pursuing certification in DBS tools for self, including implementing CP where most relevant such as Transaction Process Improvement (TPI)

  • Act as an escalation within nominated Programs

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Recognised, formal, Project/Program Management Qualification or similar

  • Experienced Program Manager used to handling large, complex program & projects like managing physical installation of products as well as the implementation of services

  • Experienced with Program & Project governance, maintaining documentation and records leading through influence with strong ability to operate within a matrix environment

  • Excellent communication and English skills, able to write meeting minutes and strong responses to tender questions

  • Must be computer literate, competent with MS Office

  • Excellent Team player. Able to build team environments quickly and often remotely to facilitate successful delivery. Able to lead, and collaborate, with others to achieve business goals

  • Possesses strong analytical, problem-solving and interpersonal skills

  • Consultative skills – Experienced in strategies at both the executive and associate level

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Multiple European languages spoken

  • Previous Experience in the Diagnostics Industry
