The Senior Associate Director, Field Force Effectiveness will own the current and future strategy, development, road map, and automation of the Key Performance Indicators across all business units in US Animal Health with field facing teams, homing in on best practices and delivering status updates across all levels of the business. They will own the US Animal Health segmentation and targeting roadmap in conjunction with global plans, rollout, and complete process development. They will own the communication strategy both in cross function team systems and the species team communication plan to include any systems that contribute to the communication and own and lead compliance partnerships through project and working field teams.

The SR AD, Field Force Effectiveness will also support the Director, FFE in CRM systems maintained and owned by the FFE team and contribute to the ideation, development, build out and roll out to field facing teams. Additionally, the Sr. Analysts, SFE will matrix into this role based on KPI ownership and deliverables to Senior Leadership at a monthly cadence.

This position will be responsible for both ideation and implementation of best practices, efficiencies across all customer facing teams, along with influencing without authority through exceptional communication and business perspective across all partners.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Owns, designs, builds the roadmap, and oversees the automation of the full US Animal Health KPIs.

  • Lifting KPIs from a monthly set of data to a meaningful and measurable focused set of informative data that aligns with differing business strategies across species and role of customer facing team.

  • Working cross functionally within the FFE team, CE teams and species leadership to align and deliver with regular, monthly cadence the levels of visibility for top level leadership reviews to territory manager views with actionable insights to apply for best business practices.

  • Owns and consistently iterates the Multi-Channel Cycle Planning at an annual and quarterly cadence, building awareness and support across species leadership, creating consistent drive for education and applicability in field facing teams.

  • Drives meaningful, measurable KPIs illustrating movement across a customer journey to purchase.

  • Derives influence from Global counterparts to allow for the quickest path to customer advancing through their journey to partnership and to meet the evolution of customer and market needs.

  • Owns and manages the compliance arm of FFE, meets frequently with the AHLT risk and compliance officer to ensure field facing teams are aligned to policies and procedures through ambassador teams, clear communication and policy understanding and acts as a liaison to inform on business needs and customer partnership best practices.

  • Owns communication plans and build between FFE and the greater CE organization and our Field Facing teams.

  • Is the business lead contact point for unexpected and expected system issues, upgrades and implementations of resources and tools lifted to field facing teams and acts as a consultant on other pain points or opportunities stemming from commercial excellence to our end customer.

  • Develops recommendations for US implementation and subsequent continuum of the Go to Market Model to include CRM suggestions and enhancements for overall effectiveness and efficiencies, influence utilization of CRM to top capabilities.

  • Owns and maintains Field Innovation Led program to include long term strategy to serve business in most impactful way, overseeing monthly agendas, topics, and meetings, collaborating across Sr. Analysts of SFE to ensure consistent, meaningful, and progressive interactions are at the center of the program.

  • Builds long term vision for development of FIL teams.

  • Acts as project manager for all assigned projects provided by the Director.

  • Drives project through collaboration and execution with all necessary business partners/key stakeholders.

  • Includes change management and communication development and execution across all impacted business units.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.

  • Seven (7) or more years progressive business experience in the U.S. Animal Health or Pharmaceutical Industry.

  • Strong job knowledge in animal health or pharmaceuticals sales & marketing, data, performance measures, and budgeting.

  • Field sales leadership experience strongly preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to glean insights from complex data sets and communicate effectively across all business stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas, facts, and technical information clearly and concisely to senior management, as well as other internal customers both verbally and written.

  • Demonstrated excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to work with other disciplines and across multiple levels of the organization.

  • Ability to train user groups and key stakeholders.

  • Three or more years of project management experience preferred.

  • Three or more years direct or indirect people leadership preferred.

  • Well-developed leadership skills.

  • Demonstrated success in large-scale cross-functional initiatives.

  • Demonstrated ability to achieve results in a highly matrixed organization.

  • Ability to understand the competitive environment and translate opportunities into business actions.

  • Ability to travel (may include overnight travel).

  • Displays AAI behaviors: Agility, Accountability, and Intrapreneurship.

Eligibility Requirements :

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.

  • Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required).
