Contributes to the profitability of the company by providing analytical guidance; manages and develops the analytical capabilities of the company by building analytical and predictive models that will assist various departments and improve processes and results; analyzes large datasets and extracts relevant information; communicates interpretation of the results of data analysis and applies results accurately and effectively; employs machine learning techniques and algorithms such as k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Forests; uses common data science toolkits such as R, Java, Python, MatLab, Julia; performs data visualization using tools such as D3.js, GGplot, Matlibplot, SAS/Graphs, Lattice; uses languages such as SQL, Hive, Pig for queries; use NoSQL Databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, Hbase, Spark; scripts and programs using R, Java, Python, Perl, SAS. Must have a Master's Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or Business Analytics. Must have completed college level courses in the following topics: 1) Applied machine learning; 2) Business analytics with R; and 3) Data Visualization.
