Insurance Cyber Risk Consultant

Are you an experienced Insurance professional, with interest and knoledge in the Cyber field, seeking a new challenge where you can work with a broad book of clients? This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Dublin office.

What the day will look like

You will be working closely with the Cyber Insurance and Consulting team, Head of Cyber and other key stakeholders to deliver best in class Cyber solutions across a portfolio of Global & Corporate and Financial/ Professional Services accounts. Our business is investing in Cyber following a sustained period of success, it is an exciting time to join the team.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Deliver Cyber advisory services to a portfolio of Global Corporate /Professional Services clients building on all of the expertise of Aon Ireland’s cyber team

  • Liaise with broking colleagues and clients to present complex technical matters clearly and concisely

  • Development and project management of consultancy and advisory services through understanding and anticipating client needs

  • Attend client meetings to maintain and build relationships, articulate Aon’s cyber strategy, and seize cross-selling opportunities

  • Contribute to the sales and business development activities that includes sales pipeline analysis, proposal writing, client presentation;

  • Build constructive business development networks within Aon and outside the business;

  • Producing high quality deliverables as part of a team .

    Focused on client delivery, the Cyber team is energetic, collaborative and innovative. You would be working alongside and sharing knowledge with Aon colleagues globally. This role would have exposure to a diverse portfolio of large global clients, and their key senior and C-Suite stakeholders. The successful individual will have the opportunity to shape the development of the Cyber practice and their own career direction, with ongoing support and mentoring to ensure your success .

    Skills and experience that will lead to success

    The Cyber Risk Consultant will have:

  • Strong experience in broking, insurer or consulting sectors is essential

  • Operational knowledge of common security frameworks and standards

  • Previous experience in security consulting, security architecture, enterprise architecture, business continuity, and/or crisis consulting desirable

  • D esire to learn and grow within a global organisation

  • Good team spirit and ability to cultivate relationships

  • Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills, and the c onfidence in engaging and presenting to senior C-Level stakehol ders

  • S trong problem-solving and analytical skill s

  • Strong work ethic and motivation with a demonstrated ability to collaborative on projects
