Job Description

Location: Dubai, UAE

Summary:

To provide timely, relevant and accurate reporting & analysis of the results of region’s performance against historical, budgeted, forecasted and strategic planning results to facilitate decision-making toward the achievement of the budget and strategic plan. Working closely with finance functions: European Finance Shared Services Centre (EFSSC) based in Westport Ireland, Country/ Affiliate FP&A. Acting as a business partner to Affiliate & MEA LT team, the job holder will need to demonstrate commercial acumen, be able to challenge and make a real and positive contribution to the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Consolidate, analyze & ensure timely submission of MEA Budget, Forecast and Long-Range Plan P&Ls;

  • Consolidate & prepare monthly S&OP deck for MEA LT review to facilitate decision making of region’s best last estimate;

  • Consolidate & analyze month-end financial reports and find discrepancies that require MEA commercial finance lead’s attention;

  • Consolidate & perform variance analysis on weekly sales flash;

  • Monthly analysis to identify gaps in sales and operating expenses by affiliate to report and implement correction plan;

  • Deliver quality & timely financial analyses & commentaries provided to JAPEC & MEA FP&A;

  • Drive process improvement and policy unification across the region’s affiliates;

  • Prepare financial reports, charts, tables and other exhibits as requested;

  • Perform budgeting & month-end closing of MEA RO profit center;

  • Perform monthly balance sheet, income statement and changes in financial position/budget variance analysis;

  • Investigate and report to the reporting manager any inconsistencies or improprieties;

  • Analyze data to ensure proper accounting procedures have been followed;

  • Provide timely, relevant and accurate reporting & analysis of the results of the region’s performance against historical, budgeted, forecasted and strategic planning results to facilitate decision-making toward the achievement of the budget and strategic plan;

  • Support Affiliate Financial Planning & Analysis(FP&A) colleagues by being the first point of contact for issues and questions;

  • Closely coordinate with shared service team on quarter end revenue deduction summary for MEA region;

  • Closely coordinate with affiliates to ensure timely and accurate submission of reports to APEC & MEA;

  • Closely coordinating with Longview team to implement new process improvements;

  • Prepare process improvement templates and checklist to ensure accuracy on report generation and submission;

  • Provide ad hoc management reports to business.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • UAE National with Family Book

  • Degree in Finance / Accounting (only fresh graduated students or last year of studies);

  • Ability to communicate professionally in English;

  • Advanced Excel skills;

  • High degree of accuracy with an extremely good attention to detail;

  • Well organized and able to prioritize during time pressured periods;

  • A general interest in strategic initiatives relevant to the financial planning and management of a healthcare business;

  • Ability to build positive working relationships where challenge and contribution is the norm;

  • Responsive and proactive;

  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
