  • Provides professional nursing care for the comfort and well-being of employees, during the seasonal period of approximately the last week of August to the first week of October.

  • Adheres to legislated safety requirements and ConAgra Brands safety policies.

  • Provides safe professional nursing care for employees using systematic problem-solving approach to assess the condition and identify the needs of the patient.

  • Observes and maintains charting record on patient care, condition, reactions and progress.

  • Assists in developing preventative health care programs.

  • Liaise with the EHS Manager, Supervision and Leadership.

  • Assists in the developing early return to work programs.

  • Maintain medical supply inventory and equipment

Position Qualifications

  • Must hold appropriate provincial certification

  • Minimum of 2 years occupational health experience, preferred

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required

  • Current First Aid and CPR certification

  • Work in a manner that models best practices in confidentiality standards.

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.

The employee frequently is required to stand and walk.

The employee is occasionally required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, and feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; taste and smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

The employee will be exposed to a noisy environment that varies from hot to cold in temperature.

Ability to work within a flexible schedule to accommodate facility’s needs
