What You Can Expect

This position is responsible for generating scientific evidence to support the development, launch and on-going maintenance of Zimmer Biomet lab customers and the test methods associated with the testing. Responsibilities include developing research/lab protocols, managing research studies, collaboration with external lab partners, data analysis, reporting and presentations to both internal and external parties.

How You'll Create Impact

  • Develop and execute protocols and perform project leadership and management for both lab research projects & customer requested studies.

  • Perform data analysis for the purpose of supporting customer projects and test method validations (ie: presentations, technical memos and final reports).

  • Collaborate with project teams to determine objective evidence needs to support new product testing.

  • Support research efforts for ZB business sites, top ZB projects selected, training, internal/external audits, project management, data collection/monitoring, and project close-out.

  • Lead Test Method Validation (TMV) & TMVE (exemption) development, execution & closure.

  • Lead continuous improvement & cost reduction in relevant laboratory.

  • Assist in yearly relevant procedure review, as necessary.

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Experience with the conduct and execution of test method validations & project management. Experience with successful project management is a plus

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software is required.

  • The ability to read, interpret and analyze data is required.

  • The ability to effectively communicate through written and oral form is required, along with strong organizational and time management skills

  • Strong oral & written communication skills

Your Background

  • Bachelor’s Degree in science or engineering is required.

  • 0-3 years’ experience in conducting research/lab studies in the medical device or healthcare industry is preferred.
