The ideal candidate is a self-starter and phenomenal teammate who is ready to tackle new initiatives and innovations in U.S. payroll processing. Workday payroll experience is required. Our team provides excellent internal payroll customer service by answering payroll related employee inquiries, delivering inter-departmental reporting, and working closely and collaboratively with HR and other cross-functional departments. This position reports to the Director of Americas Payroll.What You Will Be Doing:

Review of semi-Monthly U.S. multi-state payroll processing Review of other America entity payrolls (e.g. Canada, Brazil) Oversee the end-to-end payroll process Ensuring accuracy and timely processing of all payrolls by managing schedule, volume and quality of processing. Payroll audit and reconciliation to include maintenance of tools and templates Employee inquiries Collaborate with our internal business partners to solution and develop streamline functionality in Workday to support our Payroll and Time Tracking Create and maintain Payroll KPI Metrics Other duties and special tasks or projects as neededWhat You Bring Along:

Workday payroll experience required. Ceridian tax management experience a bonus. Positive attitude, priority on being a good teammate, communicator, and collaborator; these are a must! Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field preferred Minimum of 7 years of end-to-end payroll processing experience at a public (ideally technology) company Prior experience in a multi-state, high volume, fast-paced payroll environment Solid understanding of current legislative requirements and regulations paired with a detailed understanding of payroll, tax, stock and benefits administration Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Self-motivated by opportunities to gain knowledge and improve processes Excellent verbal and written communication Ability to provide outstanding customer service to internal and external customers Ability to foster relationships with internal business partners Effective leadership, conflict resolution and mentoring skills Strong attention to detail and discretion, able to work confidentially Ability to work independently and well under pressure. Outstanding work ethic, organization, and time management skills. Certified Payroll Profession (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) a bonus

Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary.  This role does not have a variable compensation component.

The typical starting salary range for new hires in this role is listed below.  In select locations (including Seattle WA, Los Angeles CA, the San Francisco Bay Area CA, and the New York City Metro Area), an alternate range may apply as specified below. These ranges represent the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the ranges may be modified in the future.
