THE JOB

Oversee and manage the daily functions of all Facility and maintenance related work including, but not limited to: daily cleaning services, coordination with staff of set-up and break-down of events in lobbies, bar facilities, reception spaces and VIP Lounge, administration of marquee and poster box displays, coordination with staff on special projects, events, and tours throughout the facility.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  • Plan, organize and direct all activities of the Facilities Department to obtain optimum use of equipment, facilities and personnel while exercising responsibility for the daily operation, maintenance and repair of building and all building equipment.

  • Plan, organize, direct, and inspect the work of building maintenance crews and building equipment operators.

  • Implement and maintain catalog of maintenance records and reports for projects and work tasks performed.

  • Implement, administer and/or maintain all facility related operating systems to include:

  • Facility logs and records for all equipment and building inventory

  • Detailed weekly scheduling system for all building maintenance and custodial personnel

  • Key management system

  • Alarm and building security systems

  • Telephone, communications and computer equipment

  • Radio equipment and FCC radio frequencies

  • HVAC management and maintenance

  • Facility emergency systems.

  • Auditorium seating maintenance

  • Tools and related equipment

  • Facility and building supplies inventory and procurement

  • Work /purchase order request management and fulfillment

  • All maintenance contracts with outside vendors

  • All annual building and equipment inspections and permits

  • All building blueprints, plans and specifications

  • Vendor and General Contractor database

  • Oversee and manage the daily functions of all Facility and maintenance related work including, but not limited to: daily cleaning services, coordination with staff of set-up and break-down of events in lobbies, bar facilities, reception spaces and VIP Lounge, administration of marquee and poster box displays, coordination with staff on special projects, events, and tours throughout the facility.

  • Maintain a professional and appropriate working relationship with local union management, stewards, department heads and working personnel.

  • Work closely with the General Manager in preparing annual departmental budget for building operations, procurement, building maintenance and services. Administer and maintain departmental budget to include preparation of monthly analysis comparing budgetary allocations with actual expenditures.

  • Work closely with the General Manager in preparing capitalization budget detailing replacement of old/and or obsolete equipment, proactive measures in addressing life-safety issues, and needs for new capital projects and equipment.

  • Oversee the inventory, maintenance, storage and security of all equipment and properties under the department of facilities.

  • Oversee the general upkeep, cleanliness and overall preparedness of all physical spaces including auditorium, lobbies, vestibules, catering and concessions areas, loading docks, backstage doors and fire escapes, off-stage spaces, elevators, orchestra pit, dressing rooms, green room, restrooms, wardrobe, laundry, storage spaces, offices, mechanical rooms and any other designated areas.

  • Demonstrate continuous effort to improve facilities department, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly with supervisory and subordinate staff to provide quality customer and venue services.

  • TMSS/ABI- Scheduling maintenance and housekeeping staff. Correcting errors in those departments..

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

  • 5+ Years in facility/maintenance role

  • Excel and Microsoft Application knowledge and experience

  • Experience with HVAC, Electrical systems, Life Safety Systems

  • Understanding of OSHA Compliance

  • Extensive experience with, and knowledge of, power and hand tools

  • Ability to stand for up to 8 hours in a shift

  • Ability to lift/carry 50lbs

  • Ability to work in fast paced, loud environment
