Amazon Global Partner Operations Lead, SMGS Ops - AWSI Business Operations in Detroit, Michigan

Description

We are seeking a Global Partner Operations Lead to support the AWS Industries’ Automotive & Manufacturing Global Partner team leadership to drive operational cadences, reporting and insights, and special projects. The Partner team is comprised of both strategy leaders who identify priority partners and drive development of specialized industry solutions (e.g., Connected Mobility, Smart Manufacturing, etc.), and sales managers who directly support customers by leveraging the partner’s capabilities to implement these solutions. The ideal candidate is an adaptable self-starter with strong strategic, analytical, organizational, project management, and communications skills, with a desire to learn. Collaboration, attention to detail, ability to work independently, and willingness to be hands-on are essential for success in this role.

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Key job responsibilities

  • Earn trust of senior leaders by driving predictability on the operational cadence and providing value-adding insights and strategic objectives.

  • Manage and continuously improve the business and operational cadences for the AWS Industries’ Automotive & Manufacturing Global Partner team, including incorporating goals & KPIs to signal the health of the business.

  • Independently lead and collaborate where needed to develop appropriate automation, tools, and standard templates for cadences that allow operations to scale.

  • Develop and drive mechanisms to align the partner function with its multiple stakeholders to unleash the scaling power of our partners.

  • Ability to conduct sophisticated and creative analysis of complex data and translate the results into actionable deliverables, messages, and presentations.

  • Represent partner operations in continuous improvement initiatives across AWS to drive not only increased insights, but also standardization where it makes sense.

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of Microsoft Excel experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience developing and implementing systems/tools utilized for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, Salesforce automation, etc.

  • Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using Salesforce (or other CRM tool) or BI tools

  • Experience presenting to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $107,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $199,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
