Fusion Technology LLC is in search of a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer candidate to fill this position, based around Des Plaines, IL.

  • Job Title: Electrical Engineer

  • Salary: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 +

  • Location: Des Plaines, IL

  • Job Description:

The Electrical Engineer is responsible for designing and planning projects, such as: power generation, manipulation, transmission, distribution, and storage of electricity. Duties may include: determining design approaches and parameters, analyzing equipment to establish operating data, conducts experimental tests and evaluates results, completing demonstrations and procedures for installation.

  • Duties Include, but are NOT Limited To:

Provide CI support to the Infrastructure Construction Installation Center

Plan and design a variety of facility establishment, replacements, and modernization projects.

Develops technical solutions that require collaboration with internal experts, deep analyses and understanding of impact on end-product/solutions.

Communicates with internal and client project team members.

Application of principles, theories, and concepts of technical domain.

Perform project management related tasks and communications.

Maintain accurate daily reports.

Act as point of contact and coordinate directly with the General Contractor.

Utilize software tools to assist in analysis and design.

Participate in engineering to construction hand-off meetings

  • Requirements:

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from a 4-year accredited college or university.

5 years of relevant experience in commercial, industrial, or government facilities.

Current and relevant knowledge of building and other codes.

Ability to manage multiple projects, tasks, and deadlines through to completion.

Knowledge of NAS facilities

Ability to conduct efficient, organized, data gathering and data analysis.

Ability to develop project plans, schedules, and estimates.

Proficiency in using AutoCAD / MicroStation to create and edit engineering drawings.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and engineering tools/ applications.
