The national physical security team (internally called Forte) is in search of a multi-talented security director for our world headquarters in Denver. Forte is a close-knit, agile team that thinks creatively to solve complex problems.

World HQ (Casa Campus) Security Director is a unique position which will manage a well-established, local security team, while building out national risk assessment and response capabilities. The right candidate will possess a robust executive presence, a storied background in risk assessment, and an empathetic outlook towards patients and caregivers.

Essential Functions Supervise security operations and a contracted staff of security officers in the corporate campus HQ in downtown Denver, CO Deliver high quality security services focused on protecting people, property, and information while delivering unparalleled customer service Build, improve, and maintain effective relationships with management, employees, vendors, and law enforcement partners Provide empathetic support to national risk assessment and threat management programs Deliver geographically diverse Executive support services on an as needed basis

Additional Responsibilities Meet all operational, reporting, budget, and contract compliance requirements Liaise with law enforcement and cultivate sustainable relationships with industry experts. Have or be able to develop and maintain relationships with Lower Downton stakeholders: Regional Transit Department, Denver PD, and Federal Law Enforcement. Handle escalated security issues or emergency situations appropriately Maintain operational procedures for emergency reference by security staff Manage highly sensitive and urgent threat of violence concerns, and effectively assess risk of violence utilizing industry standards, accepted behavioral threat assessment, and management methodologies to mitigate threats Deploy for urgent Executive support or complex investigations and on-site support

Qualifications Bachelor's degree Possess or obtain Certified Threat Manager (CTM), Certified Protection Professional (CPP), or higher certification 5+ years of business management/operations/supervisory experience with budget accountability 5+ years of behavioral threat assessment and violence management or mitigation, security, threat investigations, or related experience Travel domestically/internationally up to 25% of the time Previous leadership role in military, foreign service, or law enforcement Experience in incident management, threat management, corporate investigations, law enforcement investigations, crisis management, or related field Extensive experience working directly with C-Suite executives, elected officials, or political appointees Indirectly influence adjacent teams to accomplish enterprise goals Ability to work independently, in a team-oriented management environment, and with an entrepreneurial attitude Preferred graduate of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (Federal LEO)
