Job Summary

Under general supervision, assists with making meal selections, ordering and selling appropriate add-on items. Work various retail food stations as assigned. Responsible for set-up, service and clean-up of meals served during shift. Interact and communicate with all customers, visitors, and employees in a friendly and respectful manner. General cleaning and stocking as assigned. Follows and implements HACCP guidelines.

Essential Functions: Prepares a variety of foods according to customers' orders or supervisors' instructions, following approved procedures. Participates in post meal cleanup tasks as assigned or directed, including sweeping, mopping, and waxing floors, and working in dish room and pot room as needed. Assist Cooks and kitchen staff with various tasks as needed and provide cooks with needed items.

Education: No High School Diploma and/or No GED Required

Work Experience: No experience

Licenses: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of food preparation techniques Knowledge of safety hazards and necessary safety precautions sufficient to be able to establish a safe work environment. Knowledge of chemicals and equipment used to clean surface areas sufficient to be able to maintain a clean and orderly work area. Skill in understanding and following oral, illustrated, written or demonstrated instructions. Ability to communicate effectively
