Position Overview

Kiewit Infrastructure Engineers (KIE) has an immediate opening for a dynamic Project Controls Analyst. You will be part of our rapidly growing, multi-faceted Project Controls Department with best-in-class technical expertise focused on the design-build delivery of infrastructure projects. District Overview

Kiewit Infrastructure Engineering's Design Build Management team are driving clients to turn to Kiewit during all stages of design-build projects to manage their multi-disciplined design teams to improve schedule, control costs and minimize risk. Our construction-driven engineers analyze root causes and resolve design issues before they impact schedule and budget. Particularly on large design-build projects, clients benefit from the proven processes and tools used by Kiewit to minimize project risk. We are an in-house resource that supports projects throughout the company. Our staff shares experiences gained, innovative concepts, and design best practices for all projects that we support.

Location

This opportunity is based in our Lone Tree, CO office.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee weekly integrated project controls processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting and earned value metrics

  • Develop and maintain budget and cost reports, earned value analyses, and resource planning and allocation

  • Develop and publish monthly key performance indicators curves and graphs.

  • Compile summary level project reports for management

  • Analyze project controls data to assist project manager in directing project activities

  • Assist in the tracking of project change orders and development of projections

  • Understand technical aspects of standard reports and how to interpret and resolve issues

  • Interact with project scheduler to resolve issues in schedule derived reporting data

  • Interact with project team to provide analysis of reporting results

  • Interact with Area Project Controllers to provide financial analysis

  • Travel to jobsites to participate in project status updates

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in: Business, Accounting, Project Management, Construction Management, or Engineering

  • Ability to travel up to 20%

  • 3+ years’ experience in engineering or construction project controls within a complex organization or on a construction/engineering project

  • Knowledge utilizing complex ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) to prepare financial reporting and forecasts

  • Knowledge utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM) methodologies

  • Knowledge utilizing data visualization tools to present complex analyses

  • Knowledge utilizing the Microsoft Office 365 software suite to prepare and/or supplement financial reporting, forecasts, and analyses

Base Compensation: $90,000 - $130,000

(Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location)
