Aerotek Facilities Maintenance Technician in Denver, Colorado

Hiring Facilities Maintenance Technicians in Denver, CO

We are seeking highly skilled Facility Technicians for our team. The chosen candidate will be responsible for the maintenance of commercial properties. This includes carrying out preventative maintenance and repairs as per work order requirements. Our philosophy is 'Everything is a phone call away', ensuring that assistance is always available.

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00hr (based on experience/opportunity for advancement)

Work Environment:

  • Our work environment is spread across a few hundred commercial buildings in the Denver Metro Area, including retail outlets, churches, and daycares (company vehicle is provided)

  • The standard work schedule is 1st shift, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm.

  • However, there may be opportunities for after-hours and weekend work. These are not mandatory and are voluntary/on-call. The only on-call requirement is optional: staff can choose to be added to the list and select their preferred time frames.

Job Description:

  • Responsible for the maintenance of commercial properties

  • Preventative maintenance and repairs as per work order requirements

  • Troubleshooting, repair, and installation of building mechanical systems

  • Electrical work (repairing/replacing switches, ballasts, fixtures, and outlets)

  • HVAC

  • Plumbing

  • Carpentry

  • Flooring

  • Painting

Qualifications:

  • Experience working as a facilities technician or building engineer

  • Mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC experience

  • Ability to work with hand and power tools
