Robert Half is supporting the recruiting efforts of a company in the real estate industry to find an Accounting Manager. This is a full time, permanent position in Downtown Denver. It is 100% in office and is paying $110-120k + bonus + profit sharing. Additional information and job requirements are below. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for:

• Assessing all materials produced by fund administrators, such as periodic financial reports, fee computations, financial notices, and fund distribution calculations.

• Oversight of corporate accounting functions, encompassing expense reports, accounts payable, and the preparation of precise quarterly financial statements adhering to GAAP and internal policies.

• Sustaining awareness of accounting matters concerning the firm’s assets and subsidiaries.

• Supervision and tracking of necessary accounting reports and deadlines for external entities.

• Managing treasury operations and cash management, which includes suggesting capital injections and disbursements.

• Conducting research on accounting and compliance issues when required.

• Steering the process of period-end financial statement reporting, year-end audits, and tax compliance.

• Undertaking additional duties as necessary to bolster the efficiency of Corporate Finance procedures.

  Requirements

The following are requirements:

• Bachelors degree in accounting or finance

• 4-6 years of accounting experience

• 1-2 recent years of fund accounting experience - ideally PE funds

• Strong MS Excel – sumifs, x lookups, vlookups, pivot tables

• Tech Savvy, multiple systems.

• Experience as a leader or mentor of at least 1 other accountant

• Ability to work 100% in office in Downtown Denver every day
