SI RCM Director

This is a full time, exempt level position

Position Summary:

The RCM Director is a key leader in building and leading change in the organization. They are considered a leader in the operations management team and are responsible for driving step change improvement of plant reliability, championing the continued move from reactive to proactive maintenance. They will apply their knowledge and experience to ensure continuous improvement to optimize the company's physical assets and maintenance and reliability processes and strategies. Lead implementation, acceptance and adoption of enterprise asset management system.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build safety awareness by actively observing, auditing, and coaching safe work behaviour's and conditions. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental rules and regulations.

  • Develop and deploy equipment reliability strategy.

  • Ensure capital and expense budgets support approved strategic direction

  • Ensure effective CSD maintenance programs are in place to drive compliance.

  • Ensure plant resources and business plans are aligned and supportive of strategy.

  • In partnership with the manufacturing plants, develop plant specific tactics to deliver expectations and results from the reliability strategy.

  • Assess and improve contractor efficiency

  • Ensure seamless integration and alignment of equipment reliability strategy with Performance Excellence strategy.

  • Ensure a deep understanding of current standard methodologies (uptime elements) in the reliability and maintenance industry and deploy those agreed to in the business.

  • Define and drive reliability improvement metrics and KPI’s in support of operational imperatives of safety, quality, delivery and cost.

  • Provide direction and technical support for the plant Maintenance Department.

  • Identify continuous improvement projects, develop business cases and then manage the projects to the proper scope, schedule, and budget.

  • Effective usage of maintenance planning, scheduling and execution processes using SAP and/or Maximo, ADM’s chosen computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).

  • Provide support in developing of maintenance staff

  • Assist plants in developing a bottoms up maintenance budget, monitor compliance to plan and provide guidance as needed.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor´s Degree in Engineering or related 15+ years of experience, or as required by local region

  • Electrical or mechanical experience in a manufacturing maintenance and engineering environment

  • Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis, Cause and Effect or FMEA /FMECA methodologies

  • Proficient English written and oral communication skills (Including the ability to present information to a formal group).
