job summary:

Electronics Test Technician located in Decatur, GA for a leading manufacturer of lighting products. This role is responsible for electrical, mechanical, and environmental testing of products required for third-party safety verification. To be considered - one must have at least two (2) years of experience testing electronic components and materials within a laboratory environment.

This is a contract-to-hire opportunity to join a growing company.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree or equivalent work experience

• Must have at least two (2) years experience testing electronic components and materials within a laboratory environment

Preferred:

• Experience measuring AC and DC systems

• Experience with EMI and familiarity with thermocouples

responsibilities:

• Responsible for test and measurement operations on products, components, and related materials

• Validation testing of products, including electrical, mechanical, environmental, FCC, IEC, and IEEE testing

• Certification testing to ensure products meet internal and external specifications

• Testing of digital, analog, and mixed signal electronic circuits

• Photometric testing utilizing goniophotometers and integrating spheres to measure total flux output, spatial intensity distribution, and spectral distribution

• Maintain activity records, and generate finished reports for the customer
