Description
April Steel Processsingp / Delaco Steel Corp. based out of Dearborn, The primary business is the fabrication of steel and aluminum. This is a mid-size Company. The plant is 250,000 square feet, four (4) presses and approximately 150 union free employees running on two / three shifts.
We are currently searching for aFull Time Crib Attendantat our Dearborn Michiganlocation. This position will report to the Maintenance Manager.
The responsibilities for this position are:
Inventory, store and distribute hand tools and other equipment
Maintains tool functionality, calibration specifications and safe conditions by performing frequent inspections of tools and equipment for damage, defects or damage.
Track tool distribution through software
Place orders for new tools and equipment as needed
Perform repairs on any damaged tools or equipment
Maintains PPE inventory and supplies production with necessary PPE
Other responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
This position requires:
• High School Diploma or GED
• One (1) to Three (3) years in a related position
• Basic Computer Skills
• Ability to lift at least 25 lbs
• Able to walk and stand for long periods of time
• Basic Knowledge of power tools
• Ability to work with limited supervision
