Job Description:

*Reporting to either the Dearborn, MI or Tampa, FL office. This is a hybrid position reporting to the office once or twice a month.

Space Planning Coordinator - The Auto Club Group What you will do: Provides support to department in developing tactical space plans throughout the ACG footprint by performing layouts and assessments. Obtains scope of work for space planning projects and transfers scope onto plans using CAD software. Converts and creates floor plans from pdf's, hand drawn images, pictures, and dimensions into digital CAD plans. Prepares reports, creates and maintains electronic and hard copy files for all space planning projects. Maintains floor plans and seating assignments via AutoCAD throughout the ACG footprint. Maintains the space planning database and associated documents. Evaluates, analyzes, and reports on space assignments and usage, as well as personnel data. Facilitates the process of contacting departments to identify how space is classified and by whom space is being used for allocation purposes. Reviews space information to ensure that space is classified properly and consistently according to standards.

We're looking for candidates who: Required Qualifications (these are the minimum requirements to qualify)

Education (include minimum education and any licensing/certifications): College level coursework in interior design/planning, architecture and AutoCAD

Experience: Working experience in design, space planning, allocations, strategy development and move coordination within a corporate real estate environment Minimum 2 year's previous related experience knowledge of computer aided design software (AutoCAD) Working experience in interior and architectural design Experience in a professional environment; ability to interact with all levels of the organization Experience in preparing reports and KPI's relevant to space/occupancy and vacancies including making recommendations to remove costs from the portfolio by eliminating excess space.

Knowledge and Skills: AutoCAD Good understanding of space planning and design and its impact on efficient use of facilities Familiar with system furniture and general finish specifications Demonstrated knowledge and adherence to building regulations and codes Proficiency in MS Office Suite Ability to perform layouts and assessments Ability to coordinate office moves Ability to outline business unit requirements in the context of corporate standards Ability to perform in a fast paced environment working on multiple priorities, identifying solutions, problem solving and critical thinking Ability to handle confidential information when interacting with internal and external customers while supporting the development and implementation of real estate strategies Demonstrated effectiveness in customer relations with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with internal and external customers

Preferred Qualifications Must be CAD proficient Must have ability to read and interpret drawings Must have experience with furniture office systems Excellent organization, communication skills, and attention to detail
