Ford Motor Company Software Architect: Radio - Infotainment Audio in Dearborn, Michigan

We are seeking seasoned professionals who can contribute to our efforts with experience in the development of infotainment software systems. You will be focused on delivering the radio software system as a Technical Product Manager including in-house software development and interfaces to Tier 1 suppliers developing audio head units and amplifiers.

  • Product Owner for Radio Software Component (Future and Current Models)

  • Responsible for Feature Sign Off for Radio Infotainment Features (AM, FM, HD, DAB, Connected Radio, and Mixed Mode Presets).

  • Responsible for Feature delivery to all program milestones.

  • Responsible for review, import and management of all component requirements.

  • Responsible for review of all test cases as linked to JIRA Requirements to ensure quality delivery.

  • Responsible to maintain a prioritized JIRA backlog of all defects, implementation stories, and change requests for use in Sprint Planning

  • Participate in daily Scrum meeting run by ScrumMaster.

  • Analysis of all DEMS and AIMS Issues as assigned to Audio Controller

  • Audio Head Unit Support (Future and Current Models):

  • Work with development team to triage of all JIRA issues assigned to Audio Controller

  • Analysis of all DEMS and AIMS Issues as assigned to Audio Controller

  • Support of any Hard Rocks/Program Calls as required for Audio Controller Issues with D&R

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science/Computer Engineering

  • 8+ years of experience with automotive Radio and Infotainment software system design

  • Experience delivering Radio/Infotainment features using Agile scrum methodology.

  • Experience in CAN log analysis and system level troubleshooting

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal/team participation skills

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Experience delivering features on Android platform

This position is a salary grade 5 through 8.
