Ford Motor Company Senior Software Engineer in Dearborn, Michigan

We are seeking an experienced professional who can lead the development of new software products and services by building applications and experiences using vehicle data.

What you'll do...

  • Create software using the test-driven development process.

  • Create software that decodes structed data into human and machine-readable entities.

  • Create software that provides self-service, data discovery, and machine-driven recommendations.

  • Extend Ford’s Knowledge Graph with information exposed using your software.

  • Integrate your solution into existing enterprise systems.

  • Enhance existing enterprise systems.

  • Iteratively develop and deliver proof of concepts, MVPs, and production releases.

You'll have...

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, related field or a combination of education and equivalent experience

  • 8+ years of professional experience in software development.

  • 5+ years of professional experience enabling automated validation and delivery using CI/CD tools.

  • 5+ years of programming experience with one of Python, Java, JavaScript, or C++.

Even better, you may have...

  • Master's Degree in in Computer Science or related field

  • 3+ years of experience with graph databases, Resource Description Framework.

  • 3+ years of experience with Google Cloud Platform or equivalent.

  • 3+ years of experience using machine learning capabilities to solve customer problems.
