What you'll do…

Utilizing Design Thinking and User Experience methods, you will work to deliver breakthrough products and services that delight our customers. Design and Release eMotor rotor components and assemblies

Deliver all GPDS milestone, build deliverables per Global Integrator

Develop quality documents DFMEA, SCCAF, P-diagram etc. for in-house motor designs

Support campaign prevent deep dive reviews

Manage tier I supply base, document statement of work, develop cost targets, etc.

Manage supplier (Cost, timing, product and manufacturing changes). Participate in To4 discussions, supplier sourcing, cost targets, SOBA, CPA.

Work with PTME to deliver design for manufacturing

Support unit team deliver on time prototype builds, DV testing & launch.

Provide direction to CAD team to develop designs for function, packaging and assembly feasibility.

You'll have…

Bachelor degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred)

Experience in design and release activity. Experience with a build to print or in-house manufactured commodity is a plus. Transmission component D&R experience preferred.

Mechanical design experience

Working knowledge of WERS

Strong working knowledge of design for manufacturability

GD&T and stack up analysis experience

Strong Familiarity with GPDS disciplines and deliverables

Understanding of CAE inputs and outputs

Experience working with suppliers. International supplier experience preferred.

Experience in Quality Disciplines (FMA, SCAAF etc.) and GPDS Deliverables

Willingness to travel to North American supplier sites (as required)

Strong project management experience

This position is a salary grade 7.
