In this position...

This is a position for a Global Tech Strategy Analyst. In Global Tech Strategy & Planning, we are responsible for developing strategies to solve technical constraints for the enterprise and incorporating into the Cycle Plan the next generations of Electrical Platforms, Vehicle Features, ADAS, Motion (PT/Chassis,) and the Modular Catalog (component hardware across all vehicle systems.)

The strategies we develop require a wide collaboration with key stakeholders and deep engagement with the technical teams, which will result in frequent reviews with senior leadership in global product forums. Excellent collaboration with verbal and written communication skills are required, and the ability to think on your feet is a must.

What you'll do…

  • Lead development of Vision and Lighting Platform Strategies for future Electrical Architectures. This includes collaborating with stakeholders in:

  • Camera/Display Hardware

  • Interior & Exterior Lighting Hardware

  • HPCC Hardware and Software Domains

  • ADAS

  • Global Lighting Regulations/Requirements, Automotive Safety Office.

  • Develop component HW strategy and position papers for all RGB/IR/FIR Cameras and other electronic modules using Scientific Method: Observe, Research, Hypothesis, Test, Analyze, Report.

  • Partner with Research & Advanced, Core Engineering and Supply Chain to develop Hardware and Commercial Strategy in the pre-Unit space.

You'll have…

  • Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering or related

  • 5 years experience in vehicle attribute trade-off

  • 3+ years experience in supplier engagement

  • 3+ years experience in vehicle packaging/vehicle architecture interface

  • 3 years + Experience with vehicle or component-level testing (Feature Validation, DV Test, PoC test, Component Lab.)

Even better, you may have…

  • Proficient in understanding Low Voltage Differential Signaling (LVDS,) Image Signal Processing (ISP.), and Graphics Processing Unit (GPU).

  • Experience with machine vision or alternative software algorithm desired.

  • Clear verbal and written communication skills required.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks.

  • Proficient computer and analytical skills

This position is a range of salary grades 6-8 .
