Department Specific Job Details:

Provide day-to-day supervision of the patient access functions. Develop methods that aid process improvement. Understand scheduling and preregistration processes and work flows. Educate schedulers and preregistration staff regarding departmental processes. Effectively communicate with all departments and clinics that are part of patient access and determine ways to continually improve processes. Handle issues that arise and determine the best solution for each situation. REQUIRED: Associate degree or equivalent. 3 years management experience. 40 wpm typing. PREFERRED: Bachelors degree. 5 years management experience. Specializing in hospital or large medical office registration and/or gathering insurance information. CHAA
