Aston Carter Human Resources Assistant in Davidson, North Carolina

Title: HR Assistant

Schedule: Hybrid Monday - Friday

Location: Davidson, NC

Duration: 3 months (Possible Extension)

Summary:

· Maintain the human resource records of an organization’s employees.

· Responsible for maintaining personnel documents as well as performing background checks, along with other employee-related activities.

Education/Experience:

· High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Skills and Competencies:

· Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage

one’s time.

· Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information.

· Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:

· Process, verify, and maintain employee job and pay data records.

· Perform employee onboarding activities, including initiating background and drug screenings.

· Partner with other team members, talent acquisition, and HR partners to ensure employee data accuracy.
