AniCura AniCura Veterinary Graduate Programme in Danderyd, Sweden

The AniCura Veterinary Graduate Programme is a 15-month development programme designed to provide you with the necessary skills and support to excel in the veterinary profession. With a strong focus on both clinical and non-clinical skills, our programme offers a comprehensive curriculum delivered by highly respected internal and external veterinarians who are specialists and leaders in their field.

As a participant, you'll enhance your clinical communication abilities, manage common first-line and urgent cases, interpret diagnostic tests, perform basic surgical procedures, and much more. We prioritize patient safety, workplace wellbeing, and resilience, ensuring you are well-prepared to handle the mental and emotional challenges of being a veterinarian.

What you can expect

  • Mentorship: Each participant is paired with a dedicated clinic-based mentor who provides guidance and support throughout the programme. Your mentor will assist you in navigating the challenges of the veterinary profession, discussing clinical cases, and fostering your personal and professional growth.

  • Networking: Join an international group of 24-40 graduates, starting simultaneously across various AniCura locations. This programme allows you to connect with veterinarians from diverse backgrounds, building lifelong networks that will benefit your career.

  • Clinical Skills Training: Follow a structured curriculum to master necessary clinical skills, procedures, and equipment. Participate in monthly webinars with specialists on selected medical topics, followed by forum discussions with your group and the specialist.

  • Power Skills Development: Enhance your clinic communication, health & wellbeing, and stress management skills with our bespoke training sessions.

    Who can apply?

    The programme is open to newly graduated veterinarians working in AniCura clinics across all our countries. To be eligible, you should have a degree in Veterinary Medicine and less than one year of experience in clinical practice, preferably less than six months. Proficiency in English and a strong motivation to actively participate in the programme are essential.
