Job Description:
The Center for Vital Longevity, a state-of-the-art research facility, located in Dallas is seeking a Software Systems Specialist II.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
Software installation, maintenance and troubleshooting for Linux, OSX and Windows.
Hardware diagnostics and troubleshooting of desktops, laptops and printers.
Provide support for extensive research computing clusters and supporting servers, including but not limited to web servers, backups, virtual machines, HPC , and SAN / NAS .
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent IT certifications with 2 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Experience in an HPC environment
Experience with configuration management tools
Experience with version control
Experience with enterprise backup solutions
Experience managing large amounts (petabytes) of data
Experience with Apple School Manager integration is a plus.
