Integrative Emergency Services Revenue Cycle Operations Manager - Accounts Receivable in Dallas, Texas

Integrative Emergency Services, LLC (“IES”) is seeking a  Revenue Cycle Operations Manager  who will be responsible for managing the global client revenue cycle AR processes, ensuring data accuracy and leading project management strategies. Will be driving the efficient collection of receivables, to maximize collections and produce accurate reporting of billing and cash collection activity by our revenue cycle vendors.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Facilitate and lead meetings with revenue cycle management vendors and establish accountability for delivery of outputs and analysis on a timely basis to key stakeholders.

  • Manages assigned day to day revenue cycle functions and team members.

  • Manage projects specific to revenue cycle improvement, implementation, and transition.

  • Create and implement policies and procedures for managing processes associated with specific payers.

  • Develop standard client performance analytics, dashboards, drill path and alerts necessary to proactively identify issues with client performance.

  • Manage the communication and updates surrounding client performance ensuring necessary stakeholders are updated at the appropriate time. 

  • Contribute to new and organic business growth plans, including but not limited to operationalizing the end-to-end revenue cycle function for incremental volumes and standardization of processes.

  • Manage and oversee internal and/or vendor efforts related to No Surprise Act (NSA) and the Independent Dispute Resolution (IDR) process for all clients.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

    This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with guidelines, policies and procedures and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

  • Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.

    Education / Experience:  Include minimum education, technical training, and/or experience preferred to perform the job.

    Required:

  • 1-2 years leadership experience and/or operations management experience

  • 3-5 years experience in revenue cycle, patient financial services, billing office or related field

  • Extensive knowledge of medical terminology and revenue cycle industry

    Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field

  • Proficient understanding of data mining, statistical predictive modeling and financial modeling practices.

  • Prior experience with revenue cycle vendor management

  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills

  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20-25 pounds 

  • Fine hand manipulation (keyboarding)

  • Monday/Friday remote

  • Tuesday-Thursday in office 8am-5pm 

  • May visit hospital locations and vendors

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually low

    TRAVEL

  • Up to 10% travel may be required including overnight stays.
