Description:

• Pipefitter - ideally looking for 5 plus years as a pipefitter.

• Install industrial piping systems: chill water, hot water, steam, condensate, and condensed water.

• Read blueprints and submittals.

• Lay out the internal piping design for an HVAC unit based on external inputs/outputs.

• Fabricate pipe supports and spool copper lines.

• Understands how to safely operate powered hand tools.

• Trained in overhead crane operations.

• Repair, cap, and test all types of plumbing piping.

• Instruct plumbing helpers under your supervision.

Position Requirements:

• 5 years pipefitter experience preferred.

• 2-3 years hands on construction / industrial related mechanical work.

• Ownership of pipefitter hand tools.

• Knowledge of pipefitter equipment, power tools, and fabrication methods.

• Knowledge of different types of pipe, valves, fittings, and their functions.

Skills:

• Pipe fitting

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Understanding of HVAC & Plumbing
