Texas Instruments Kilby Labs AI Research and Development Engineer in Dallas, Texas

Description

We can't predict what the future holds, but we know Texas Instruments will have a part in shaping it.

We’re looking for an expert in neural network (MLP, RNN, CNN, transformer) design, training and implementation to join our Kilby Labs AI research and development team. Our activities span:

  • A variety of internal and external applications of neural networks

  • Ultra high accuracy and ultra low complexity neural network design and training

  • Software tool development for neural network optimization, sparsification and quantization

  • Graph compiler and node library design to map high level graph descriptions to low level C code

  • Hardware specification for high performance and low power execution of neural networks

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

  • Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering or related degree

  • Cumulative 3.0 / 4.0 GPA or higher

Preferred qualifications:

  • Doctoral degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering

  • Familiarity with state of the art neural network (MLP, RNN, CNN, transformer) design and training for vision, speech, language and time series based applications

  • Experience with the PyTorch deep learning library, ONNX intermediate representation, TVM graph compiler and GCC and LLVM C / C compilers

  • Excellent Python and C / C programming skills

  • Excellent linear algebra, probability, info theory, calculus, and signal processing knowledge

  • Experience with RISC-V based processor design and customization

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
