Facility Project Coordinator - Full Time Days

Fast-paced, high volume food services department is looking for top skilled coordinators Is that you?

Work location: Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Ln. TX 75231

Work hours: Full Time, 40 hours, Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM. May need to need rotate for coverage.

Emergency Department highlights:

· Fast paced maintenance department with over 2 million square feet of campus buildings.

· This is a high-volume department with over 150 work orders per day.

Here’s What You Need

· Bachelor's Degree Building Construction, Engineering, Mechanics, Science or related field Req

· 3 Years Architecture, Design, Engineering and/or Landscaping Req

· Minimum of 3 years of construction/maintenance related experience preferred

· DL - Drivers License Upon Hire Req And

· Other TDA non-commercial pest control license 6 Months Req And

· Other Certified Grounds Manager 12 Months Req And

· PMP - Project Management Professional Certification 2 Years Req And

· Other Texas Certified Landscape Professional Upon Hire Pref

What You Will Do

· Leads the preparation of all assigned projects in coordination with hospital departments and user groups, assess needs and finalizes a project scope.

· Works with facility department leadership to ensure projects budgets align with capital budgeting process. Ensures all objectives are met within the approved budget.

· Reviews contracts, change orders, and invoices before routing through the approval chain. Ensures all costs are captured and accurately routed.

· Leads the maintenance and construction process for multiple ongoing projects to include those related to architectural, grounds and pest control. Coordinates with facility department leadership on mechanical, electrical, plumbing projects that may overlap.

· Coordinates efforts of various departments such as engineering, security, infection control, information technology, and supply chain during projects.

· Manages seasonal projects (holiday lighting), temporary installations (exhibits), and other as-needed inter-departmental coordination.

· Educates staff on the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) functions and best practices for performing tasks.

· Participates in CMMS software implementation and provides training at the staff level. Provides support as a Tier 1 contact for the facilities team.
