Are you an experienced User Experience/User Interface (UX/UI) Software Engineer looking to grow your skillset and work on a project that has real world impact? We are supporting a large contract to develop advanced tools and applications in support of the Joint Warfare Analysis Center (JWAC) in Dahlgren, VA. Our team is looking for a UX/UI Software Engineer with a desire to develop and deploy state-of-the-art automated decision-support solutions that solve some of the most challenging problems facing our nation.

Physical location for this classified work will be at the Joint Warfare Analysis Center in Dahlgren, VA.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be a US Citizen with an active Top-Secret clearance and DCID eligibility for SCI

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other technical discipline and minimum relevant experience (5+ years). Additional relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of the bachelor’s degree

  • Experience designing user interfaces, presenting complex information to users, and optimizing user experience and efficiency

  • Experience with modern programming languages (e.g., C#, Python, TypeScript, JavaScript)

  • Experience with designing and creating browser-based User Interfaces (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

  • Experience working with web service data formats (e.g., JSON, XML)

  • Self-motivated individual with strong organizational and prioritization skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative/distributed team environment

  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience developing with ArcGIS Pro UI components (C# add-ins)

  • Experience developing Python Dash applications

  • Relational database development experience (SQL)

  • Knowledge of software engineering and programming concepts

  • Experience with source control systems (e.g., Mercurial, Git, SVN)

  • Integrated development environments (e.g., Eclipse, Visual Studio Code)

Salary Range:

$96,400.00 - $168,700.00
