You bring passion and dedication to your job and there's no telling what you could accomplish! We are seeking an App Technologies Evangelist for the Worldwide Developer Relations team. As a member of Apple’s Evangelism team, you’ll help 3rd-party developers adopt the core system frameworks and APIs underlying the platform experience on Apple devices. This role offers a unique opportunity to directly impact the user interface, architecture, and quality of apps and games enjoyed by millions of people every day. You possess a passion for Apple technologies, have expertise in Swift and SwiftUI, and show proven aptitude with developing for Apple platforms. You have strong communication and people skills, since you’ll be presenting in public, collaborating cross-functionally within Apple, and working side by side with developers every day.

Key Qualifications

  • 5+ years applied experience in developing for Apple platforms.

  • Expertise with Xcode, Swift, and SwiftUI.

  • Familiarity with Objective-C, UIKit, and/or AppKit.

  • Fundamental knowledge of modern app development, client-server interactions, and optimization.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proven public speaking and presentation skills.

  • Dedicated individual who understands Apple's high standards.

  • Highly professional, with proven experience in delivering solid work on tight schedules.

  • Motivated, proactive, outgoing, and comfortable working in a loosely structured, collaborative organization.

Description

  • Work directly with 3rd-party developers to develop full stack apps and games, encouraging and helping them to use Apple technologies. - Consult with leading 3rd-party developers to optimize, modernize, and adopt key Apple technologies. - Lead hands-on programming workshops and labs to assist developers with the adoption of specific Apple technologies. - Collaborate with Apple engineering teams to advocate for the requirements of 3rd-party developers, plan and oversee technical sessions for Apple's annual Worldwide Developer Conference and other developer activities year-round.

Education & Experience

B.Sc. or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Software Development, or Software Design Engineering.

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $138,900.00 and $256,500.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
