Position Summary

The Finance Governance team is responsible for the centralized SAP S/4 finance governance process establishing enterprise programs, policies and procedures while also providing a framework to manage, review, approve and execute master data change requests and enhancements. This includes establishing best practices and master data conventions. As a member of the team, this manager will be responsible for overseeing the overall execution of the Finance Data Governance Process and being an ambassador for planned goals and objectives.

This position will have direct reports and will report to the Director, Finance Governance within the Finance Organization.

Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Manage enhancement initiatives within the Data Governance process

  • Coordinate the detail-oriented evaluation of submitted change requests ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to conventions. Following-up with the business if required or providing guidance and advisory services

  • Ensure that reference material and the Finance SAP S/4 Repository share point site is updated appropriately

  • Partner with key stakeholders to research and resolve issues as needed and provide general governance related support

  • Ensure that master data is periodically audited to ensure accuracy and relevance

  • Manage the master data change approval process and verify that change requests are implemented per established processes and procedures while maintaining logs and audit trails

Required Qualifications

• 7 or more years of experience in Corporate Accounting and/or Finance

• 7 or more years of experience with ERP and Financial Systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle or Hyperion)

Preferred Qualifications

• Management experience

• Experience with Finance Process Automation or experience working within the HealthCare Insurance

Industry

• Prior experience managing master data or financial system maintenance preferred

• Knowledge of SAP S/4 and/or SAP experience preferred

• Strong communication and analytical skills required

• Proven ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail with a logical mind set

• Extensive knowledge of excel, word, share point and power point

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and to prioritize self and staff accordingly

• Willingness to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

• Proven ability to be a self-starter and work independently per established guidance with minimal supervision

• The ability to understand and work with complex systems and apply critical thinking skills

Education

Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience required. Bachelors with a concentration in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$63,300.00 - $139,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
