ManTech Senior Test Engineer in Crane, Indiana

We are looking for an enthusiastic and forward-thinking team member to join our engineering team and be at the forefront of innovation. As a core member, you will work with multi-domain autonomous systems, engage in rapid prototyping, and collaborate on a cross-functional team. You will play a pivotal role in the design, development, testing, experimentation, and deployment of those multi-domain autonomous systems. Your effort will go towards dramatically increasing the warfighter’s effectiveness through the application of cutting-edge drone technologies. Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Test Engineer to join our team in Crane, IN .

This position is Hybrid .

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Define customer needs and requirements.

  • Contribute to Integrated Assessment Reports.

  • Supports the development of Government test and evaluation documentation e.g., Test & Evaluation (T&E) Strategy, Test & Evaluation Master Plan, Event Test Plans, Test Readiness Assessments, and T&E Reports.

  • Develops and documents test plans and procedures, conduct rigorous independent testing, and evaluating and documenting results.

  • Provide specialized T&E capabilities tailored to system functions, level, maturity, and performance area.

  • Test against requirements/use cases.

  • Prepares studies, plans, and analyses in support of the delivery order.

  • Plan and execute performance analysis.

  • Choose, develop, and utilize analysis tools.

  • Implement the evaluation plan on data gathered through Testing Tasks.

  • Develop strategies and execute performance data collection.

  • Support customer test events.

  • Generate Evaluation Plans, including metric framework, scenarios/threads, timelines, requirements/T&E cross-references, as well as Analysis Plans, Data Requirements, Risk Assessments, Evaluation Reports, and Status Reports. Additionally, provide input to Government T&E documents such as Technology Readiness Assessments, Test & Evaluation Strategy, Test & Evaluation Master Plan, T&E Plans & Procedures, and Test Readiness Reports.

  • Select, coordinate, and calibrate instrumentation, collection and data management tools, targets, and facilities.

  • Offer well-informed suggestions for improving the product, ensure compliance with regulations, provide support services after evaluation, address identified issues, monitor product performance over time, and conduct technology surveys to recommend experimental capabilities.

  • Work closely with highly collaborative cross-functional team.

  • Work closely with DoD stakeholders to incorporate government-selected technology into joint and international training exercises, with a specific focus on evaluating its performance for possible operational utilization.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience modeling and simulating electrical systems.

  • 5 to 9 years of experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university.Four years of additional related experience may be substituted for a degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Agile principles.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance prior to starting this position.

Physical Requirements:

  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
