FTE:: 0.001, Shift: : Day, Schedule: Variable Days Evenings Nights weekend Holidays Position Summary The Security Officer is a key position on our Security Services team. In this role, you provide protection over MultiCare Health System properties and facilities. You will own the responsibility for the security and safety of MultiCare patients, employees and visitors. Responsibilities You will conduct general security in the protection of people and property and the enforcement of all applicable policies, rules, and regulations You will deter criminal activity and misconduct You will actively and consistently demonstrate the mission and values of the MultiCare Health System with discretion and good judgment You will communicate effectively with your team You will engage with work with a service-oriented attitude, professional integrity, and attention to detail Requirements High school graduate or equivalent preferred Current Washington state driver's license IAHSS basic certification or ability to obtain within one (1) year of hire date Minimum six (6) months of experience in police, military, or security, preferable in a health care setting Proof of a safe driving record (which meets established MultiCare Standards) obtained by a motor vehicle report from the appropriate state Our Values As a MultiCare employee, we'll rely on you to reflect our core values of Respect, Integrity, Stewardship, Excellence, Collaboration and Kindness. Pay and Benefit Expectations We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $18.38 - $26.46 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
