Description

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Finance Manager to join our team. The Finance Manager will play a key role in managing financial operations, driving business performance, and providing financial insights to support decision-making. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in finance and accounting, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of success in the logistics industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis.

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to optimize profitability, cash flow, and working capital management.

  • Partner with department heads and operational leaders to develop annual budgets and long-term financial plans.

  • Analyze financial performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.

  • Prepare financial presentations for executive leadership and board meetings, providing insights and recommendations to drive business growth and operational efficiency.

  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including lenders, investors, auditors, and regulatory agencies.

  • Supervise and mentor a team of financial analysts and accounting professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes impacting the logistics and transportation sector.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field required; MBA or CPA preferred.

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial or leadership role.

  • Strong understanding of financial principles, practices, and regulations, with specific knowledge of the logistics and transportation industry.

  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and Excel; experience with financial planning and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) preferred.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.

  • Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate, develop, and empower a high-performing team.

  • Strategic mindset with the ability to think analytically, anticipate future trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy, integrity, and compliance in financial reporting and analysis.
