Cortland Park Rehabilitation & Nursing Infection Control RN in Cortland, New York
Cortland Park is searching for a Skin/Wounds RN and Infection Control RN to join our growing team.
Requirements:
Must have a current New York State RN Licensure and be in good standing on the Nursing Assistant Registry.
Communicate orally in writing with residents, families, co-workers and the public.
Must be able to pass physical examination upon offer of employment.
Must be approved to work through the Criminal Background Check Program.
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and be able to walk around the unit.
Must be able to stoop; kneel; crouch; reach; push; pull; climb; lift and carry heavy objects and be able to turn, handle and manipulate minor medical equipment.
Duties:
Responsible for the Infection Control process facility wide and preparing/submitting reports quarterly at Pharmacy/Infection Control Meetings.
Submits monthly Infection Control Reports to the Administrator and Directorr of Nursing.
Responsible for the Quality Improvement Plan for the facility Infection Control process.
Submits quarterly Infection Control Reports to thhe Quality Improvement Council.
