About the Position: The mission of the Corpus Christi Army Depot is to overhaul, repair, modify, retrofit, test and modernize helicopters, engines and components for all services and foreign military customers. Responsibilities Provide or obtain a variety of management services essential to the direction and efficient operation of the organization. Serve as the primary recruitment advisor for the depot. Develop and participate in long range human resources strategic planning and long-range sustainment or major programmatic changes. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes developing and implementing the Depot's Talent Management plan to maximize workforce flexibility and expertise in overall HR strategic planning needs; reviewing new regulations to determine the impact on the organization's mission; Conducting studies to address organizational efficiency issues and/or resolving complex organizational challenges. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11 or above). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Administration and Management Human Capital Management Workforce Planning Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
