Robert Half Financial Analyst in Coppell, Texas

Description We are looking for a diligent Financial Analyst to join our team in Coppell, Texas. The role centers around the development and management of the company's annual budget, conducting comprehensive financial analysis, and preparing detailed financial reports. This role will also involve the reconciliation of transactions and the use of queries to evaluate and analyze data.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage the company's annual budget in alignment with strategic objectives

• Prepare comprehensive financial reports highlighting key performance indicators and financial metrics

• Conduct in-depth financial analysis to provide insights into the company's performance, trends, and areas for improvement

• Monitor and analyze financial results against budgets and forecasts, identifying key drivers of variances and proposing corrective actions

• Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data

• Collaborate with the Controller to develop useful, accurate, and timely reports and metrics for evaluation of business operations

• Utilize financial modeling and forecasting to support decision-making

• Conduct financial analysis to track KPIs and ensure efficient operations and profitability

• Utilize queries to evaluate and analyze data including cost analysis, forecasting, and analysis of other metrics as needed

• Maintain accurate customer credit records and process customer credit applications efficiently. Requirements • Must have a minimum of three years of experience in a Financial Analyst role

• Proficiency in accounting software systems is required

• Experience with CapEx and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is essential

• Familiarity with ERP Solutions and Great Plains (GPAC) is a must

• Ability to use About Time software effectively

• Must have a strong understanding of accounting functions

• Experience with budget processes and expense reporting is required

• Must have a solid foundation in finance, budgeting, and forecasting

• Proficiency in forecasting and modeling is desirable

• Strong skills in financial reporting and account reconciliation are a must

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work well in a team and independently

• Must have excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

• Must be able to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
