Huntington National Bank IT Governance and Delivery Lead in Columbus, Ohio

Description

Responsibilities

  • Assess existing VMO standards, policies, and processes to recommend improvements, identify gaps, meet regulatory requirements, and mitigate risk.

  • Lead collaborative initiatives between team members and partners to define, review, maintain, and communicate VMO standards, policies, and processes.

  • Drive monitoring and analysis of existing VMO processes to identify technical or procedural improvements and implement changes.

  • Lead efforts to define requirements for reporting related to VMO standards, policies, and processes.

  • Monitor and report on compliance with existing VMO standards, policies, and processes.

  • Develop and maintain backlog to ensure VMO continuous improvement initiatives, ongoing work, and new efforts are prioritized and delivered.

  • Plan, facilitate, and lead VMO meetings.

  • Drive creation and delivery of training related to VMO standards, policies, and processes as needed.

  • Drive collaboration with VMO team members to develop communications, documentation, training, and job aids supporting VMO messaging, new and modified governance, standards, and processes.

  • Lead and conduct research and analysis efforts supporting VMO initiatives.

  • Collaborate within the VMO to respond to and answer questions generated by VMO partners and colleagues.

  • Lead the delivery of VMO training related to Value Delivery and VMO tools.

  • Perform BSRM responsibilities as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 7+ years of related experience in working in a Value Management or Project Management Office developing standards, processes, or guidelines for delivery or tools.

  • Experience working in a project/value delivery role (e.g., BSA, Test, Developer, Scrum Master, etc.).

  • Experience using ADO, ServiceNow PPM, and/or AgilePlace.

  • Experience using O365, MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using Visio or other tools to create process maps.

  • Experience preparing for and facilitating meetings with strong ability to follow-up and ensure action items are completed.

  • Understanding of Agile and Waterfall delivery with an ability to explain how standards, processes, and procedures related to VMO governance intertwines.

  • Experience defining and documenting standards, processes, procedures, and guidelines related Agile/Waterfall delivery and VMO tools.

  • Ability to create well-structured communication and rollout plans for VMO releases and changes.

  • Experience in utilizing data to identify gaps and training needs related to VMO standards, policies, procedures, and guidelines for Agile/Waterfall delivery and VMO tools.

  • Experience in providing context and defining processes, best practices, and guidance related to regulatory requirements.

  • Experience creating job aids and training content related to following standards and processes related to governance, reporting, or tools.

  • Experience delivering training with the ability to take governance, processes, and procedures and creating relatable examples of their application for colleagues.

  • Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor peers and junior team members.

  • Ability to motivate and lead others, communicate effectively and confidently with colleagues, teams, and senior executives.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication, active listening, and presentation skills.

  • Highly motivated with excellent organizational, analytical, decision making, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to build credibility and strong partnerships while working collaboratively within the team and across the organization.

  • Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks, determine priorities, and execute in a high-pressure environment.

  • Ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts creating positive outcomes.
